I have been involved in dogs since I was 13 years old. I lived at that time in Northern Rhodesia, (now Zambia). I first did obedience work with my 2 cross breed German Shepherds. When I married my husband in 1970, we bought 2 registered German Shepherds and I became a member of KUSA, I bred and showed the dogs. We moved to Botswana in 1974 with our 2 daughters, I had my own quarantine kennels. I started an obedience school training the local people’s dogs, as there were no clubs or dog shows. I did this for 6 years while we stayed in Botswana.

We then moved to Margate in 1980 to live on my father’s plot, while there I decided that the girls were old enough to have a dog of their own. I was looking for a toy poodle breeder, when I stumbled on a breeder of some small little dogs, there were loads of them I found out they were called Pomeranians. I bought the girls one each, and when the dogs were old enough to go into the show ring, I told the girls to take them into the ring, later on when collecting the girls they told me that the one pom, FAIRWINDS DOMINIQUE OF SILVERGLOW had obtained several first’s and a cc. Well I thought that beats running around the ring like a fool, and looking like a limp rag at the end of the day, I decided to rather breed and show poms.

After several bad buys not knowing what to look for I decided to buy 2 poms, an orange bitch NOWENDS MINDY OF SILVERLOW and a black/tan male NOWENDS BRIGHTSTAR OF SILVERGLOW, from a lady leaving Southern Rhodesia (Zimbabwe) the dogs parents were out of some very impressive old UK lines, the dogs themselves were a little bigger than what was being shown in the ring, but still lovely specimens. I bred them together and CH. SILVERGLOW DONNA was born, a beautiful cream/sable, she took the show scene by storm and was a Champion at 12 months, obtaining a 2 point cc at 6 months, I had only been in the breed, and show ring for 2 years I was thrilled to have done so well. NOWENDS BRIGHTSTAR OF SILVERGLOW gave me 2 more Champions CH. SILVERGLOW ELFAAN GEM, and CH. SILVERGLOW MUSIC MAN brother and sister litter mates, they were made up in 5 shows.

I then bought CH. MONILENE CHINKY OF SILVERGLOW a lovely cream, he was a Champion at 12 months, the first KUSA NATIONAL POMERANIAN, at the first KUSA NATIONALS, winning 4th in the Group finals, he also won many All Breeds Best Veteran in Show’s. In 1986 we moved to Kempton Park. CH. MONILENE CHINKY’S daughter CH SILVERGLOW TINY SNOWDROP also won a 2 point cc.

At 14 and half years old she won a cc best of breed and went on to win BEST VETERAN IN SHOW she also won many other BEST VETERAN IN SHOWS at all breed shows before she died at 15 years. I bred CH. MONILENE CHINKY OF SILVERGLOW to CH. SILVERGLOW DONNA unfortunately, she was only 3 years at the time, when she died having a caesarean, the resulting male SILVERGLOW YURI CHARM was a little too big to show, but was a lovely specimen, he was the father, of CH. SILVERGLOW IVAN THE GREAT OF BROWDEEN, WHO WAS THE FATHER OF CH. SILVERGLOW CASSIUS CARLO WHO WAS THE FATHER OF CH. SILVERGLOW ADORABLE ALEXIS, CH. SILVERGLOW PEGASUS PAUL OF DE CHATALET and CH. SILVERGLOW KOBY CASSANOVA OF TRISHCA, who was the father of CH. CAROLERA BLADE OF DE CHATLET. SILVERGLOW YURI CHARM was the father of CH. SILVERGLOW GARNET OF SUNRAY who was the father of CH. SILVERGLOW GRACEFUL LADY OF DE CHATALET and the grandfather of CH. SILVERGLOW GISELLE GINA.

I did very well in the following years with a very limited amount of showing.

To improve my bloodlines I used a lovely red dog imported from Canada.CH. & CH. (ZIM) (USA & CAN) SHARIAN ROCKIN ROBIN OF TINYTOT on two of my best bitches. CH. SILVERGLOW ROSE PETAL a daughter of CH. MONILENE CHINKY OF SILVERGLOW, she was also grandmother to CH. SILVERGLOW PEGAUS PAUL OF DE CHATALET. SILVERGLOW YVONNE’S DREAM, a daughter of the imported Canadian dog, although not a Champion herself she produced 5 Champion’s. In 2005 I bought a stud out of SA.UK and USA bloodlines, ANJULA MARKUS AT XANTAH he produced CH. SILVERGLOW ZANDRA ZOE who in some very stiff competition, from the puppy class, become a Champion at 18 months, all her awards have been almost exclusively obtained by overseas judges.

I have some great great news CH. AUS. CH.FIN. SILVERGLOW TINY TIM OF EBERDENE has been exported to Australia, was made a Finland Champion, in only three shows, thanks to the well known, Finland breeders Esa and Laura Ruotsalainen, while in Finland he was mated to some excellent bitches and now has an excellent daughter that is a champion in Finland. Esa imported a male puppy from me in 2010 who is out of ANJULA MARKUS AT XANTAH AND SILVERGLOW SHINNING SHEREE DAUGHTER OF CH. SILVERGLOW GISELLE GINA I wish him all the best and look forward to the pup becoming a champion. TIMMY is now in Australia and in two months was made an Australian Champion winning multi Best of Breed, multi Group’s and multi Group Placing. I am looking forward to getting a puppy from CH FIN. CH. AUST. SILVERGLOW TINY TIM OF EBERDENE and SILVERGLOW KARINA KATEY. KATEY was mated to a CH. Stud of Esa’s while she was in Finland and has produced 4 puppies which are all now CHAMPIONS in Finland, one is the top bitch and an international champion. We started 2009 with CH. AUST. CH .FIN. SILVERGLOW TINY TIMMY OF EBERDENE’S son EBERDENE BLADE OF GLORY OF SILVERGLOW, at nineteen months winning 5CC and 3 Reserve Best of Breed, and obtaining an excellent at a FCI show, all by overseas judges, he is a beautiful cream. CH. EBERDENE BLADE OF GLORY IS NOW A CHAMPION. His half sister EBERDENE RHAPSODY IN BLUE OF SILVERGLOW has 3 RCC and BOB. She is a dark blue, one of the only blues in South Africa. CH. SILVERGLOW ZANDRA ZOE has a lovely dark red boy, SILVERGLOW JUDE JAMEEL, who has 4CC, 1 Reserve Best of Breed and 1 Best Puppy.

CH. SILVERGLOW ZANDRA ZOE has been mated to a parti, cream/white imported from USA SHOWIN’S TOUCH OF CLASS AT BROWDEEN she produced two girls these puppies will be parti faceted, I also have two more parti faceted bitches from him that will be mated to my new black/white parti from the USA, DELPOMS BLACK AND WHITE TUXEDO OF SILVERGLOW. I also have his sister, DELPOMS CHOCOLATE DANCING STAR OF SILVERGLOW. They have Finch lines, the top breeder in the USA PARTI STORM IN A TEACUP AT BROWDEEN. We hope to have a parti litter from her expected in early January 2012. She has won in only two months of showing, in 2011, 2CC, 2 Best Puppy and a 3rd Best Puppy in Group. I have a beautiful black male imported from the Phillipines PHIL. CH. BIS. BISS. CANTON BLACK CHARMER OF SHEMAUR. He was mated to SILVERGLOW TIPTOES MINNY sister of CH.FIN.CH.AUST. SILVERGLOW TINY TIMMY OF EBERDENE. A lovely black and tan female was produced - she was exported to the USA to LIsa of Delpoms Kennels with a lovely cream male of Silverglow breeding. A Black and tan male SILVERGLOW EXQUISITE DAMAN is also the offspring of PHIL. CH. BIS. BISS. CANTON BLACK CHARMER OF SHEMAUR and CH. SILVERGLOW ZANDRA ZOE - he will be shown in 2012. CH EBERDENE BLADE OF GLORY OF SILVERGLOW, son of CH. AUST. CH .FIN. SILVERGLOW TINY TIMMY OF EBERDENE has produced a beautiful blue and tan boy SILVERGLOW POSH PORSCHE OF EBERDENE who at his first open sho obtained best of breed, 3rd puppy group and 3rd toy group at only 6 months. We have high hopes for him.

14 years ago I decided to buy a Chow, the male I bought is CH. HD00. ARC. CGC. TRISHCA BOLDARROW OF SILVERGLOW, He was made up in 18 MONTHS, was chow of the Year in 2000. I bought a bitch a year later CH. HDOO.ARC. TIAPAN PEPPA OF SILVERGLOW, she also became a Champion at 18 months these two were bred together, and produced some very good qualilty puppies. I then imported a bitch from Belgium in 2001, CH. RAHNEE DHAO’S AURORA OF SILVERGLOW, she obtained her Championship in 3 years. SILVERGLOW CASSIUS THUNDER has done a fair amount of winning but does not like to show when he feel like showing he does very well. SILVERGLOW DYNOMITE DANCER, did very well in the show ring when he was a puppy but unfortunately he died when he was 18 months.

SILVERGLOW GABRIEL GABOR did a fair amount of winning in the open show’s until she decided not to show, we may try again in 2012. Her son CH. SILVERGLOW JOSHUA JOEL a beautiful Cinnamon, was a Champion at 18 months, winning multi certificates and group placing, his brother a dark red is also a champion CH. SILVERGLOW JAY JAY OF TRISHCA. Gabby produced a lovely blue SILVERGLOW KERRY BLUEBELL she has 2 RCC. SILVERGLOW HEAVENLY BEAUTY does not like to show. Her daughter is red bitch SILVERGLOW I AM FANCEY FREE who has 3 cc’s. Her red sister SILVERGLOW I AM TOO FANCEY OF TRISHCA has 4 cc.

. In 2006 I imported a cream bitch from Australia, from the Sherae Kennels, her dad is imported from the USA she has a cream father grandfather and a great grandfather who are all cream. But she also decided after a year of showing it was not her thing so now is gives us beautiful puppies. We call her Amurala as her colour is like amurala, she produces, white, cream, and fawn. We have kept a daughter of Amarula’s a light red bitch she will be mated to IMP. AUST.CH. SHERAE MOZART’ S CREAMFROG OF SILVERGLOW and we hope to produce creams from her and Luke, in 2011. I imported another cream chow from the Sherae kennels in Australia in 2007, CH. SHERAE MOZART’S CREAMFROG OF SILVERGLOW his dad is imported from the USA, LUKE is a impressive show dog, he became a Champion at 18 month, at 2 years he already had 10 cc, multi best puppy, Reserve best puppy in group, 1 x 3rd best puppy in group, 1 x 2nd best in Group, multi Reserve Best of Breed and multi Best of Breed. CH. SHERAE MOZART’S CREAMFROG OF SILVERGLOW and CH. SILVERGLOW JOSHUA JOEL both qualified in 2007 for the Best of the Best competition, LUKE going forward in the puppy and utility group, to 4th in both classes. Both Luke and Josh have both been graded excellent and both won a Reserve CACIB in the FCI shows in 2009.

Our new puppy SILVERGLOW LEO LEXIS, has already done very well in several open shows, winning 4 x best puppy, 2 Best of Breed, 3rd in the puppy Group and 3rd Best Puppy in Show, and qualified for Best of The Best competition in the puppy group. In 2011 he was made a champion in only 6 championship shows, with a Best of Breed and 2 Reserve Best of Breed. We have a silver fawn KUNGFU MONEY PENNY OF SILVERGLOW out of SILVERGLOW KERRY BLUEBELL OF KUNGFU AND IMP. AUST. CH.SHERAE MOZART’S CREAMFROG OF SILVERGLOW. She has already won several BOB’s BEST PUPPY AND PUPPY GROUP PLACING in open shows, as well as 1CC and 4RCC and Best Puppy

I am pleased to say that I have completed my exams for the UTILITY AND TOY GROUPS and have passed, so will be able to judge at Championship shows in 2012. In the meantime I am judging at open show level the HERDING AND HOUND GROUPS.
